Otherwise known as "The Man They Can Dan," this East St. Louis native is known for being one thing: funny. We don't mean joke funny, either, we mean "what is wrong with this guy?" With a near encyclopedic knowledge of movies, he can quote Hackers, Antitrust and Cobra at the drop of a hat. After having spent two years in the seedy underbelly of St. Louis' own Hollywood known as Ballwin, Dan understands the true nature of how the world works. It's not who you know, it's who knows you.
"I never really thought of myself as someone who had big dreams. I guess I always just dreamed larger than life without realizing it," Dan says as he adjusts his pink Crocs. "Maybe I'm a little different like that. Maybe I don't know when enough is enough or when to back down. It's in my blood. My people? My people don't quit, no matter how difficult the job."
But don't get Dan wrong, he's more than just about having fun. His favorite movies include Mortal Kombat, Ernest Scared Stupid, Pumping Iron, Deep Blue Sea and Pearl Harbor.
